2011 National Mocha Mom's Conference

Hello Readers and Jazzy Mocha's!

I was so grateful for the opportunity to be the official photographer for the 2011 National Mocha Mom's Conference in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. It was so beautiful to capture the essence and all things Mocha. The camaraderie, conversation, fellowship, food, speakers, workshops, and love among all the mother's was such an amaaaaaaaazing experience. I've never had so many snapshots in one memory card, in my life!!! As a member myself, I am so blessed to be a part of such an empowering and encouraging group. Though a bit exhausted after it was all said and done, I did it!! I returned back home to a loving, joyful baby boy and daddy. Ohhhh, how I missed my little family! Although being away from them had it's challenges, the opportunity and experience of photographing such a phenomenal event was priceless. It was truly four days of love and light. Here's a little bit of that...

Shine on!!

Mission Accomplished

I recently enrolled in an intensive summer class at the University of California, Irvine. My goal was to perfect my craft and earn credits toward completing a Specialization Certification in Photography. I have since accomplished both! Woohoo! Watch out world, one jazzy chic is on a mission... and her lens may be coming to a town near you!

Labor of Love Part II

Happy Monday jazzy readers! Today marks another puuuush in the labor of love process for Jasmin Amira Photography. Building this business is like doing a little "hee-hee hooing" during those pregger breathing exercise classes all over again! Ohh the joys of the invaluable hee-hee-hooo...

Okay, so about this particular delivery. I have completed a fabulous layout that allows my photography clients to check out the gallery of their photo's and purchase them all in one web site! Simple and tech savvy! Just the way jazzy clientele like to operate! Also, stay tuned for my official photography website, which is on the horizon. The creative process is all in the works and I'm super excited! I love breaking new ground with you! Thank you.

Behold, The Beauty of The Bump

Pregnancy and Motherhood is such a special experience. When I took preggo photos, I knew I wanted to remember how my body took shape (all extra 35 lbs) Sheesh! No, but really the pure and true beauty of it all. I wanted a visual document of the bond and journey I experienced between mother and son. I could tear up just thinking of it (my cry baby mama hormones never left.) Looking back at those photos, I am so appreciative I did.
Jill had never done a maternity photoshoot with her first son because he was a precious preemie. When she told me this, I just had to shoot her and capture the glow, the miracle, the artistry, the beauty! I wanted to show how amazing the gift of life is. I couldn't wait for Momma Jill, Milo, and Baby Mason to get in front of my lens. I wanted to give her memories she would cherish for a lifetime. "Behold, The Beauty of The Bump!"

Pieces of Me

Mother. Photographer. Blogger. Shoe Enthusiast. Dreamer
Good morning and Happy Monday! Let the week begin! My week begins with the love of my son giving me a random sloppy smooch, letting my creative juices flow for work, and getting at least a couple loads of laundry done.  All of which I love...well minus the laundry part. Anyone that knows me, knows I love being a mother, a photographer and shoooooooooes! Ohhhh, The pure joy and indulgence of purchasing and wearing a stiletto!! There's just something about a beautiful piece of footwear that can only be worn for a couple of hours. Women, you know it's "shoe-icide" if we push the limit in a 4 inch heel! Yet the beauty, the length of our leg, and the appeal it gives is so tempting. Although, I haven't been able to wear any lately because a mother certainly cannot chase her toddler in her favorite pair of Jimmy Choos. So my flip flops will do for now. Hey, these days a girl can only dream about getting her feet in a pair of  Louboutins...hmm maybe when Josiah Marley hits school age. :-)

Flip flops, Nike's, High heels or whatever...Walk with a Jazziness in your step today!
