Lacie + David

Happy Friday folks,

Exactly one week ago today, I had the amazing experience of photographing the wedding of Lacie and David as a second shooter with http://www.stephaniehorwedelphotography.com/. It was a gorgeous day and I  know I've mentioned in blog posts before how truly grateful I am that they gave a rookie a chance. The world of wedding photography is very competitive and your lucky if you can get your foot in the door as a newbie. So I thank the good Lord above that Stephanie Horwedel gave me the green light. All because I wrote a kinda venturesome post on the ever so wonderful OC international wedding photographer, Jasmine Star's facebook. Who knew?!

Lacie and David, let me just say again how honored I am to have witnessed and documented the beginning of the rest of your lives. And love. I adore you both and hope your enjoying your honeymoon in Lake Tahoe. Much love and appreciation.

I love Jasmine. I love Stephanie. I love Lacie and David. I love all things photography. I love the results of my first wedding. I love the possibilities.
Check out my love in pictures below. Enjoy. Hope you love 'em too.

Stay lovely,
Jazzy

The Biaggi Family

Okay, so I still haven't got around to posting pictures of the recent wedding I photographed but by-golly I will get to it sooner or later! ( Umm, I have no idea where that bye-golly came from.)
Anyway, I did however get around to taking family portraits of the beautiful Ann, Chris and their son Max, who are vacationing from the fabulous Las Vegas. And lemme tell ya, Max is one of the cutest lil kiddo's I know...tears and all. I met up with the Biaggi fam in Carlsbad, Ca. The weather and 16 month old Maximo decided they really weren't up to cooperating on a day of an organized photo shoot. No biggie, with a little help from some strangers trying to make Max smile, patient parents and my off key singing of the Itsy Bitsy Spider...we made it work. Yesssssss!!!!

Cool, Calm & Collected

Long Beach, CA- J. Marley & Uncle Kadir
There's nothing more California cool then chillin' with family in some SoCal sunshine. I absolutly loved spending some quality convo/venting/listening/kickback time with my talented and encouraging big bro Kadir...and Josiah didn't mind it either. Good times.

It's important in this life that you love what you do, and do what you love.

I love my family, photographing people's heart, and documenting my life through scrapbooking.

17 months!

Seventeen months ago my life changed forever. I feel extremely blessed to have such a happy and healthy baby toddler boy who fills my heart with so much joy, keeps me grounded, and has an explosive poo that leaks on my brand new Anthropologie top just so I know to keep it real.
